Leo Club collaborated with Make a better place NGO to host a clothing donation drive “Closet for a cause “. All the club members had publicized the drive to get clothes donated by people.
MABP is a Bangalore-based NGO working for the betterment of the underprivileged since 2019. This is a non-profit Charity organization with a lot of support to give to various categories of children and people needing our love, concern, care, and support.
So, we asked people to donate clothes for the need. Clothes can be used/unused, blankets, and shawls in usable and not torn condition
We serve as a bridge between the common man, the affluent section, and the underprivileged section of society. We are working towards uplifting the weaker sections of the community by providing various socio-economic and other social services.
Winters in Bengalaru go as low as 15-degree celsius. We wrap ourselves up with layers of jackets and blankets, but what about the others on the street? So the whole point of this campaign is to donate clothes and make a difference.
The members of the Leo Club NHCE conducted a clothing donation campaign from December 1st to December 5th. The students publicized it and also collaborated with the NGO to donate the clothes. The Leo club has collected a total of 129 clothes. This includes 82 women’s and 40 men’s clothes along with 4 blankets and 3 sweaters. And all these were packed in boxes and sent to the NGO Make a better place.
