BLOOD DONATION CAMP

On the 28th of April 2018 the Leo club organized a blood donation camp at the New Horizon College of Engineering campus.The LIONS blood bank and the KIDVAI blood bank were present on the spot.

All the Club Members Has Done Campaining in the NHCE Campus And Educated The Donors To Come Forward And Donate.

Students from all semesters came forward to donate blood. Every donor was required to fill out a form which assessed if they were healthy donors or not.Donors were also required to undergo a small health check before the blood donation process.Only healthy donors were allowed to donate blood. Donors were given refreshments and a certificate from the respective blood banks.Members of the Leo club who volunteered donated blood at the end of the day. Our beloved principal Dr. Manjunatha also donated blood. The blood collected from each donor was properly labeled, categorized and safely stored.

At the end of the day both the blood banks together had collected 160 units of blood.
