‘The Green Campus’ An awareness program which was held on the 16th of March 2017, to spread a word among the students for the campus cleanliness.
The event began at 1.00pm in the main stage of our NHCE campus. It commenced in support with the Swachh Bharath Mission and continued with a small talk by our emcees about keeping our campus tidy and the cleanliness protocols were introduced. This was followed by a speech by the Dean of Student Affairs, HOD of mechanical department Dr. Ganesh Prasad. A song was sung by one of our member.
The President along with the committee members took an oath with all our club members. To spread awareness among the students, we went for a campus drive making sure the campus was kept clean and also informing the students about the cleanliness protocols. This wouldn’t have been a success without the support of Dr. Anitha S Rai Chief librarian and Cultural head NHCE. A total of 100 members of the NSS club were involved in the success of this event.
The session ended with a discussion with our chairman Dr. Mohan Manghnani and Principal Dr. Manjunatha about our upcoming events.
