NSS CLUB

On the occasion of 64th kannada rajyotsava the students of NSS club organized the event under the guidance of Dean, mechanical HOD M S Ganesh Prasad sir and PED Vinay sir on 5th of November 2019.The chief guest of the event was Mr. Sanath a kannada movie actor and producer Chethan Raj.The event was started by hoisting the Karnataka flag ,followed by speech by our chief guest and our principal, then we had a few cultural events and then concluded the event by singing national anthem.

We the members of NSS club along with Rotaract club and Leo club got an opportunity to plant some saplings under the initiative of the central government called ONE STUDENT ONE TREE so on 29th August 2019 we the students on NHCE had been to an under-construction lake near mahadevpura where we planted around 150 saplings and completed the initiative successfully.

On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami we the students of NSS club had been went to Iskcon on 24th August 2019 to serve lord Krishna .where we offered prayers to lord Krishna to start our day .we served lord Krishna in various aspects like Guiding the people to the right places,serving food to the people. we also helped to decorate lord Krishna and we also made prasadam for lord Krishna. So we had a very good day overall.

On the occasion of sadbhavana day , the students of NSS club organized an event with the guidance of Dr. Revathi ma’am HOD physics cycle. NHCE college students took a pledge , around 7000 students from all branches of engineering took part in this event to make it a grand success.

On the occasion of 73rd Independence Day, flag hoisting and a small program was organized by the NSS club. The event took place on the main stage. The event started at 9 am, the flag was hoisted by the chief guest, principal of NHCE. After that he guided the audience present on the occasion regarding the way we can go about with various things for a beterment of the nation and individual. Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm on September 2 , that is on Ashtami of Krishna paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight. On this day temples and homes are decorated and illuminated. On the Auspicious day of Krishna Janmashtami on 14-08-2017 , the members of the NSS club NHCE along with 50 other volunteers had visited  the ISKCON temple , Rajajinagar , for servicing the devotes who came to visit the temple on Krishna Janmashtami. We the members of NSS club visited Snehalaya on march 17th. It is a school for specially-abled students. There were 50 students in the school. We interacted with them and when we asked for any requirements, they requested for a bus. They are in need of a mini bus those students take part in various events like ‘Special Olympics’, craft work talent shows and other activities.
