Our Journey So Far
Since launching in 2023, MAD Club has grown into one of the most active co-curricular communities at New Horizon College of Engineering.
- 150+ participants at every flagship event, four semesters running.
- Four flagship events planned and delivered end-to-end by the club’s own committees: Mindspark’23, InnoWave’24, TechSync’24 and Connect’24.
- TechSync’24 brought four campus clubs together for a single cross-club hackathon.
- An 11-member core team running dedicated Program, Project, Marketing and Review committees.
Apps Built by Our Members
An app like Evently serves as a comprehensive hub for college events, offering a centralized platform where users can easily access information about all the events taking place on campus. It typically includes features such as event listings, schedules, and possibly notifications to keep users updated on upcoming activities. Essentially, it’s a one-stop-shop for staying in the loop and making sure you don’t miss out on any exciting events within your college community.
Users can embark on thrilling adventures by following clues or navigating through a virtual map to discover hidden treasures. The app often combines elements of augmented reality, geolocation, and interactive puzzles to engage users in an immersive experience. It’s a modern twist on a classic activity, making treasure hunting accessible and entertaining for users of all ages.
