WHO WE ARE

->The Mobile Application Development Club (MAD Club) advocates for the education and creation of modern apps within the mobile space — through small teams building real, meaningful projects.

->Established in 2023 at New Horizon College of Engineering, MAD Club brings together students who are into design, code, or bringing ideas to life.

->Every semester, our members turn ideas into apps through hands-on workshops, hackathons and design challenges.

OBJECTIVE

->Mobile Application Development Club is to advocate for the education and creation of modern applications within the mobile space.

->Through the advancement of programming skills found within the subset of mobile development and the utilization of small teams to create meaningful projects, the
Mobile Application Development Club seeks to enrich mobile development activity.

->This provides students with the opportunity to see their ideas come to fruition, forming a new community built on creativity, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and learning

FUNCTIONS

->Organize flagship semester events — coding challenges, UI design sprints and pitch competitions such as Mindspark, InnoWave and TechSync — open to every student.

->Run hands-on workshops that walk members through the full app-building process, from idea and design through to a working build.

->Coordinate through dedicated committees — Program, Project, Marketing and Review — so every event is planned, built, promoted and evaluated by the people closest to it.

OUTCOMES

->Students will be enriched in programming skills, creativity, and teamwork. Facilitate students to be updated with the latest tools and technologies.

->Through active participation, students will develop and improve their programming skills, particularly in the context of mobile app development.

->Club activities will foster teamwork and cooperation among students, preparing them for collaborative work environments in the professional world
