Old Clothes Donation Camp

The Leo club organised an old clothes donation camp within the college on the 15th and 16th of March. Members from the club campaigned about the clothes donation camp extensively on social media a few days prior to the event.On the day of the event a stall was setup outside the library and a few members were stationed at the stall. A lot of students turned up with bags of old clothes! Each donor was given a complementary jute bag with the intention of reducing the usage of plastic bags.Due to feedback from many students we had to extend the event by a day. We collected a lot of clothes which were sorted and distributed to old age homes and orphanages in need of them.
