Orphanage Visit

On the occasion of children’s day (14th November), the club had organized a visit to Thayi Mane. Thayi Mane is an orphanage located on Sarjapur main road. It is home to over 120 children. Members from the club raised funds through donations from the college students before the visit. Members from the club visited the ashram on the 13th of November. There were so many children , everyone of them eager to interact with us. There was so much energy that we were overwhelmed. The members started interacting with the children in groups. We also cut a cake and distributed it to all the children. They were very happy to see new people and interact with us.

We had planned a few activities. The members danced and played with the children till 2:00 PM. At 2 the members and the children ate lunch together , lunch was sponsored by the club. It was a pleasant experience for all of us , even the children had a break from their daily routine. We left the home with fond memories and promises of another visit.
