Blood Donation Camp

On the 4th of November the Lions club along with the Leo club organized a blood donation camp at the New Horizon College of Engineering campus.

The Leo club members also took this opportunity to collect old newspapers as a fund raising effort. The members of the Leo club went to each class a few days before the camp and urged everyone to bring old newspapers to the blood donation camp. The students were also educated about the benefits of blood donation.
Every member of the Leo club enthusiastically contributed to the event in some way or the other.
Overall there was a good response at the blood donation camp. Each donor was given refreshments and a certificate. The Lions club blood bank collected 165 units of blood and the NIMHANS blood bank collected 113 units.
