TREE PLANTATION & JUTE BAG DISTRIBUTION’16– NHCE
On the 3rd of October, Monday the club held an event on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. As a contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the club members planned to plant saplings within the college campus and distribute jute bags to all students and staff.
The event was held in the ground of the campus. All the department HODs and staff were invited for the event. The principal gave a speech about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as a movement that is not only meant to clean our surroundings but also to keep it pollution free.
The staff and the members joined hands for this plantation and five saplings were planted. The members of the club pledged to take care of these saplings and work towards the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The jute bags were then distributed to all as a sign to support eco friendly products.
