NHCE aims at creating awareness on BEING GREEN so as to appreciate nature, its resources and being dutibound to protect environment. It aims to generate awareness on BEING GREEN through campaigns, events and outreach.
Bringing CHANGE and Building CHANGE is the motto of the club.
Objectives:
- To create awareness of environment and its sustainability among students, faculty, staff
- To build green attitude amongst stakeholders in campus and beyond
- To organize green events and activities
- To carry out conservation activities
- To spread green engineering concepts.
Activities:
- Launch of a green help App – Name of the APP : doNATION
- Awareness programs
- Open forum(discuss various projects, solutions and action plans for green and sustainable world)
- Outreach programs to teaching elementary school children about the environment
- Plastic bottle planters
- Recycling the recycled papers
- Bookmarks from old books and magazines
- Mime act
