Investiture Ceremony of Co-Curricular Clubs of New Horizon College of Engineering was organized on 9th April 2019 in the Falconry Seminar Hall of NHCE.
Dr. Manjunatha Principal, NHCE; Dr. Anusya, HOD-Basic science and DrAnandhavardhan, HOD- Biotech enlightened the ceremony with their August presence.
The ceremony was started at 3.15 pm with a beautiful invocation song by thestudents of NHCE. Dr.ClaraKanmani A, Associate Professor, A Department of Computer science and Engineering and Co-ordinator of Co- Curricular Clubs
of Circuit-branches proposed the Welcome Address. In her welcoming address, she welcomed all the dignitaries, faculties and the club members. She gave a brief description about significance of Co-Curricular clubs and motivated students to perform better.
Prof. Rakesh. C, Assistant Professor from Mechanical Engineering and Coordinator of Co-Curricular Clubs of Non Circuit-branches motivated the students with his motivational videos which mapped club activities to 12 program outcomes. He advised the office bearers of clubs to set proper goals and objectives of the Clubs and to have a realistic vision.
Dr. Majunatha, Principal of NHCE, gave an amazing speech and addressed with notable motivational though ts and quotes to the club members. His speech was focused towards better performance & team work. He insisted the students to be responsible and to take the charge of their action and the future will be theirs. Also, the Principal distributed the badges to the Presidents of all the co-curricular clubs.
Prof. Rakesh, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department administered the oath taking and all the club Presidents of each club took the oath towards performing selflessly for the club, college and the nation. It was a very energetic atmosphere in the seminar hall.
Dr. Clara KanmaniA ,Associate professor of Computer science and Engineering proposed the vote of thanks. All the Office bearers of co-curricular clubs and the faculty co- coordinators attended the program. It was a well-organized programme, students were energized & motivated to work with the club as a team.
