OBJECTIVE

The students were taken on a national industrial visit to have a travel experience that is also informative. The objective also included providing students a practical exposure of the manufacturing process and an understanding about the working of the industry

With an intention to provide exposure and to gather wider knowledge on various aspects, the fifth semester students of BCOM, BBA and BCA were taken to Goa as part of the National Educational tour from 05^th May 2022 to 7^th May 2022. The batch consisted of 101 students and 6 faculty members

The departure was scheduled from college campus on 4^th May, where enthusiastic students boarded the buses that left the campus at 8.30 PM. We reached the resort on 5^th May in the afternoon. The students were welcomed with a refreshing drink and rooms were allotted followed by lunch. The students set out for a visit to Calangute beach and then the Baga Beach. The evening was spent playing and capturing wonderful memories in their phones. A camp fire was organized in the resort that night along with a scrumptious dinner. The students danced for joy with their friends to the foot tapping music before they returned to their respective rooms.

The third day the students spent time shopping and getting souvenirs for their loved ones before we left Goa in the evening. We bid goodbye to the beautiful place at 5.30 PM and reached Bangalore early the next morning.

OUTCOME

The trip added value in terms of team work, coordination and taught students the art of balancing freedom with responsibility. The objective of the visit was achieved as the students not only had a great time, they also learnt about manufacturing process and an understanding about the working of the industry.
