Side-Quest
As part of spreading the spirit and ideas of TED, the TEDxNHCE student chapter initiated a series of
events over a span of two days. These events were curated to captivate the student community and
promote the vision of the club.
Day 1:
On the first day, the TEDx club’s content, design, and media teams hosted engaging events. The content team held Mock Court Legacy, inspired by Suits, where students argued cases on fundamental rights based on a fictional constitution. The design team organized The Big Brochure Theory, a brochure designing competition using tools like Photoshop and Canva. Meanwhile, the media team conducted Pixibee, a photography contest where participants captured moments based on a pre-given theme.
day 2:
On the second day, the TEDx club’s events team hosted The Song of Ice and Lies, a Game of Thrones-themed crisis cabinet where participants, assigned character roles, made strategic decisions. The marketing team led Wolves of Wall Street, testing participants’ marketing and sales skills. Meanwhile, the video and production team organized Martha’s Mugshot, a video editing competition where contestants transformed raw footage into a polished two-minute video.
