to promote health, physical well-being, and the development of physical skill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h1><u>GOAL<\/u><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>To raise awareness of sporting and leisure facilities and achievements<\/li>\n<li>To assess existing clubs and facilities.<\/li>\n<li>To draw up a list of clubs, facilities and contacts<\/li>\n<li>To encourage the students to join clubs and take regular exercise<\/li>\n<li>To lobby for improved facilities for sport.<\/li>\n<li>To raise a team for the VTU SPORTS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><u>OBJECTIVES<\/u><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide students, faculty, and staff the opportunity for instruction and participation in the sports of which one may develop sound, lifelong leisure values.<\/li>\n<li>To develop leadership skills by providing opportunities for students to organize, administer, and manage the Club Sport Council.<\/li>\n<li>To provide an avenue for camaraderie and to develop a sense of belonging among individuals in the shared pursuit of sport.<\/li>\n<li>To provide an outlet for advanced participation and competition in a particular sport.<\/li>\n<li>To secure funds, facilities and equipment necessary to learn and practice skills of a particular sport.<\/li>\n<li>To promote sport and fitness .<\/li>\n<li>Club meeting will be held once in 15 days, on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> or 4<sup>th<\/sup> Saturdays of every month to discuss the
