Esteemed guests Ms. Sudha Bargur, a renowned humourist and Kannada literary figure, and Mr. Mimicry Dayanand, the famed mimicry artist and comedian, graced the occasion, adding light-heartedness and humour to the day\u2019s events. A floral offering to Karnataka Maathe (Mother Karnataka) followed, in honour of the state, and attendees joined in singing the Naada Geethe, Karnataka&#8217;s state anthem, instilling pride and unity. The cultural section commenced with a Kamsale dance performance by the MBA students, a traditional folk art that captivated the audience with its vibrant energy and rhythmic beats. Following this, the Principal of New Horizon College of Engineering formally welcomed the dignitaries, guests, and students in the presence of the Chairman of the institution. Ms. Sudha Bargur, kn<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">own for her wit <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">and keen observations of everyday life, shared lighthearted anecdotes in Kannada that resonated with the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">students and faculty alike. His comedic timing and relatable jokes created an uplifting environment, reinforcing the celebratory mood of Kannada Rajyotsava.<\/p>\n<p>The event continued with a variety of cultural performances by students from New Horizon College of Engineering and New Horizon College, Marathalli. These included, Traditional dance performances that highlighted Karnataka\u2019s rich folk traditions, classical heritage, and evolving cultural expressions.
