OBJECTIVE:
\nTo facilitate an engaging and educational experience, Earthathon aimed to
\nmake learning about the environment fun and accessible through an
\ninteractive quiz event, sparking awareness and interest in current
\nenvironmental issues also rewarding the winners with exciting prizes and
\ncertificates.<\/p>\n

\nVENUE: Video conference room, NHCE.<\/p>\n

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
\nThe Green Warriors organized an event called Earthathon, which attracted
\nnearly 40 participants. The event was hosted at the VC room, NHCE. The
\nevent focused on scientific topics related to the environment, current
\ntemperature spikes in Bengaluru, scientific terms of various structures in the
\nearth and also most of it related to recycling and reducing .It consisted of
\nthree parts. Firstly, there was a quiz with questions about things like climate
\nand the layers of the Earth. Participants found it both educational and
\nenjoyable. Then, there was a Pictionary game where participants guessed
\nwords from drawings related to science. It was an engaging activity that
\nencouraged participation from everyone. Lastly, there was a crossword
\npuzzle that challenged participants to recall what they had learned. Time
\nlimit was given for each question making it much more interesting. One
\nround was conducted after the other with no breaks making it a rapid fire
\ncontest indulging the attention of all participants throughout the event.
\nEarthathon provided a great opportunity for participants to learn more about
\nscience and how to protect our planet.<\/p>\n

CONCLUSION:
\nOverall, the event was a success. First, second and third prizes were bagged
\nby the participants and were later rewarded with exciting prizes. We
\nobserved teamwork and enjoyment. Everybody were interactive and followed
\nthe rules that were established according to the different rounds of the
\ngame. Volunteers assembled prior to the event and planned the seating
\narrangements of the teams that came in pairs and even teams of 3 were
\nwelcomed. Reviews were drawn from the participants helping us to improve
\nour flexibility in working and looking forward to conducting much likely funfilled
\nevents in the future.<\/p>\n
