OBJECTIVE

To promote sustainable living by encouraging students to reduce single-use plastic and adopt eco-friendly alternatives. The Eco Carry Drive 2025 aims to inspire creativity through hands-on paper bag making and raise environmental awareness through interactive activities. The event also seeks to foster a sense of responsibility among students toward building a cleaner, greener future.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Green Warriors Club, NHCE, organized Eco Carry Drive 2025, a sustainability-focused initiative designed to inspire students to embrace eco-friendly habits and reduce plastic usage. The event featured two primary activities: Paper Bag Making and an Awareness Activity, each aimed at promoting environmentally responsible behavior.

During the Paper Bag Making session, participants engaged in designing and crafting durable, eco-friendly paper bags as a practical alternative to plastic carry bags. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity while emphasizing the importance of reducing plastic waste in daily life.

The Awareness Activity further strengthened the event’s purpose by educating participants on the environmental impacts of plastic, the significance of recycling, and simple lifestyle changes that contribute to a healthier planet. Students actively discussed sustainable practices and shared ideas on how to incorporate eco-conscious choices into their routines.

Adding to the event’s impact, the session was conducted in collaboration with Eat Raja, India’s first Zero-Waste Juice Bar, whose founder is widely recognized as a sustainability icon. His insights and real-world examples inspired participants to adopt zero-waste principles and rethink conventional consumption habits.

All participants received Activity Points and Certificates of Participation, acknowledging their efforts toward supporting environmental conservation.
