(CLEANLINESS DRIVE)
EVENT REPORT
OBJECTIVE: To raise environmental awareness, promote cleanliness, and contribute to the cleanliness of the community around Jakkur Lake, by volunteering and actively participating in the planned activities.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The Green Warriors club organized the Cleanliness Drive on 28th November. The club partnered with ‘Jalaposhan’, a group that works for the preservation and well-being of Jakkur Lake, where the event was held. 60 eager volunteers from NHCE, including the Green Warriors members, took part in the cleaning and planting activities.
The event started with a speech by Mr. Madhu from Jalaposhan, who explained the agenda of the event and the mission of the group. Then the volunteers began the cleaning drive around the edge of Jakkur Lake. They wore gloves, carried garbage bags, and used other essential tools to gather a lot of dry waste from the area. They collected about 765 KG of dry waste in total during the two weeks. The volunteers demonstrated excellent cooperation and commitment, carefully tidying up the environment.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, the event was able to achieve its goal of increasing environmental awareness, encouraging cleanliness, and adding to the greenery of our community. Students will also earn the highly desirable AICTE activity points needed for their engineering course through this campaign. The campaign got positive feedback and a sense of environmental responsibility from the volunteers. This motivates the Green Warriors club to conduct more such events in the future to help our society as a whole.
