The Canvas of Colourful Dreams
Alumni meet, the day of rejoicing old memories, class stories, meeting favourite teachers, was celebrated on a grand scale in our college.
The art club handled the work to decorate a memory lane for the alumnus. With small placards with their names, small chart papers with the trends of the years and some collages of photos sent by alumnus itself.
We also made props with some trending slangs to make their pictures memorable.
The event RANGITHARANGA– hosted by art club in collaboration with NSS club is a painting Event conducted on 18/11/2021 at 11 am .
The event was based on the concept of bringing the artist in and also to take quick break from all the college work .The theme of the event was “college life” . The event was open to all the students and registration was free . In total we got 11 participants , making the event very competitive and we received active participation from all the participants . The time duration of the event was 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Kannada Rajyotsava, the pride of Karnataka and Kannadigas, celebrated on the 1st of November, where all of Karnataka rejoice and celebrate the founding of their state.
The event was conducted on the 18th of November.
On this day we collaborated with NSS club to organise an all campus treasure hunt where participants had to find envelopes (clues)which were custom designed by the art club members. We also helped them in decorating the college campus with Karnataka flag coloured ribbon bows.
We also face painted dance club members to suit their ethnic performances on Kannada Rajyotsava.
Diwali, the festival of lights, the festival of health was celebrated in New Horizon College of Engineering on 27th of October. The college was decorated with lights, and gorgeous display of art everywhere around our campus.The event was filled with dance, drama and music. The art club had the job of making a swastika rangoli and light it with diyas at dusk when the chairman lights the first diya. We made the rangoli on the front lawn and decorated it with flowers.

The theme of the event was “halloween “. The event was open to all the students and registration was free . In total we got 27 participants , making the event very competitive and we received active participation from the participants .The total time duration of the event was around three hours, in which face painting was limited to 1 hour 30 minutes, 30 minutes for changing. The fashion walk continued from 4:30pm to 6pm.
