Spreading Smiles: A Heartfelt Visit to Madhu Mansion Charitable Trust
On 16th November 2024, the students of New Horizon Engineering College visited Madhu Mansion Charitable Trust,
an orphanage, as part of a fundraising initiative to promote Sargam 2024. Funds were collected through old-school games like lagori, hopscotch, tug of war, and dodge ball which brought nostalgia and enthusiasm among participants. The aim was to donate the proceeds to support the welfare of underprivileged children at the orphanage. During the visit, students interacted with the children through activities like storytelling, art, and music, creating a joyful and engaging environment. The collected funds were handed over to the orphanage management to contribute to the children’s educational and daily needs. The interaction fostered smiles, connection, and a sense of care between the students and the children.
The visit proved to be a meaningful experience, reinforcing the importance of social responsibility and empathy. It successfully combined the promotion of Sargam with a noble cause, leaving a positive impact on both the children at Madhu Mansion Charitable Trust and the students of New Horizon Engineering College.
