Green Energy Club mainly concentrates in Creating awareness regarding the importance and methods of Energy Conservation along with its effective utilization.
The objectives of this club are :
- To inculcate the habit of energy conservation among Indian Public.
- To provide industrial / field experience regarding the upcoming technologies.
- To improve outdoor recreational activities.
FUNCTIONS OF THE CLUB :
- Study and develop green projects like Bio gas plant, solar power generation, use of fuel cells, energy auditing etc..
- Organise industrial visits to power industries like co-generation plants, generation plants, substations etc..
- Conduct workshops and seminars on smart grids, SCADA, DCS and other modern systems.
- Organise contests related to the energy conservation and pollution free environment.
