EVEN SEMESTER: EVENT 1
On May 30, 2024, the Data Analytics Club of New Horizon College of Engineering conducted a successful workshop titled “Data Analytics Using Python” from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Room A-306, Department of Management Studies. The workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to data analytics using Python, covering topics such as Python basics, installation of IDLE and Jupyter Notebook, Python data types, operators, functions, usage of different libraries, data analysis, Pandas, Matplotlib, and core data types like lists, tuples, and dictionaries, along with practical demonstrations on importing datasets and plotting using Matplotlib. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 40 students across MBA, Computer Science Engineering, and Data Science departments, as well as 4 faculty members from the MBA department. The highly interactive workshop featured hands-on activities and real-time problem-solving, which were particularly appreciated. The diverse content ensured participants gained a well-rounded understanding of Python programming and advanced data analysis techniques, equipping them with practical knowledge and tools for future projects. The Data Analytics Club looks forward to organizing more such events to keep students updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics
