It was the standardised dialect of Old Indo Aryan that originated as Vedic Sanskrit and the history of the languages is chased back to Proto – Indo – Iranian and Proto – Indo – European. It is one of the official languages in India and is popularly known as a classical language which is the mother of most languages. The meaning of the language is refined, decorated and produced in the perfect form and the language is known for its clarity and beauty.
Sanskrit, the language of Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism is now attracting the modern world and today we find that Universities in the western countries are adopting this language for study and to explore the world.
Not to be left behind in the world of languages to study, the Institution provides opportunities for students to study this language as one of the languages of study in tune to the provision made in the choice of languages provided by the Pre – University board.
