The southern Dravidian Language has three periods to its legacy known as Halegannada, Nadugannada and Modern Kannada to its present. This language is predominantly spoken in the region of Karnataka and people speaking this language are found worldwide due to their immigration to that country for the purpose of education , employment , business etc.,
Kannada as a language holds the 27th position as the most spoken languages of the world and is very independent of the influence of the Sanskrit language.
This official language of Karnataka, it is also among the languages being taught as choice of language in the subject of study. This department paves way for all those whose mother tongue is not Kannada, to study the language and be comfortable with the dialect in their day to day living.
