The outreach activity is an initiative to promote social welfare and awareness in the society. The activities addresses the core issues in the society and find ways to resolve the same and bring positive changes as well.

Goal

Outreach takes initiatives for the general social welfare it will arouse the social conscience of the students and provide them an opportunity to work with the people in the villages and slums.

Objectives

  • To understand the community in which they work
  • To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving process
  • Develop a sense of social awareness among students towards civic responsibility
  • Gain skills in mobilizing community participation
  • Develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities.
  • Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude
  • Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters
  • To conduct social service activities like cleaning the campus, planting trees, blood donation camps, etc

Institutional Social Responsibility

  • Donated Rs. 5 Crore towards PM Cares Fund for the cause of “Covid 19”
  • Donated Rs. 5 Crore towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on April 3rd 2015.
  • Donated Rs. 50 Lakh to Army Welfare Casualty Fund on November 17th 2016.
  • Donated Rs. 36,00,000.00/- to AkshayaPatra Foundation on 29-01-2018
  • Donated Rs. 31,50,000/- to Sri SathyaSai Trust on 08-01-2018 towards providing food to the attendants of the Patients in Govt Hospitals and breakfast to the Children studying in Rural schools.
  • Donated Rs.25,00,000/- to RMV Foundation towards the expansion of the hospital for the poor and destitute people on January 7th, 2018.
  • Donated Rs. 10,00,000/- to Welfare Association for Rehabitation of Disabled & Society on 16-01-2018 towards the construction of new building in their campus.
  • Donated Rs. 10,00,000.00/- to VidyarthiShikshanaSeva Trust Vide on 11-10-2017.
  • Donated Rs. 10,00,000/- to Welfare Association for Rehabitation of Disabled & Society on 12-07-2017 towards the construction of new building in their campus.
  • Donated Rs. 8,51,000.00/- to VishwashantiSeva Charitable Trust on 23-05-2017.
  • Donated Rs.1,00,000/- to Mudrika Foundation for Indian performing arts for the dance performance.
  • Donated Rs. 5,00,000/- to the Ministry of Defence, KendriyaSainik Board.
  • Donated Rs.3,00,000/- to Ganapathi Seva Samithi towards distribution of Educational kit to poors.
  • Donated Rs. 3,00,000/- to Shree Maruthideo Sarvajanik Trust on 17-04-2017 towards development activities in the village near Dhamner.
  • Donated Rs. 5,00,000/- to Ramakrishna Math towards a new project launched in the name of “JnanaYatra” as a part of educational service
  • Donated Rs. 2,00,000/- to Vasavi Vidya Niketan
  • Donated Rs. 5,00,000/- to Hindu Spiritual & Services Foundation
  • Donated Rs. 1,50,000/- to Lions Club of Bangalore West
  • Donated Rs.1,00,000/- to Karnataka Arya Vysya Charitable Trust.
  • Donated Rs. 2,77,733/- to Hindu Seva Prathisthana (Nele Foundation) towards their water charges and fees of students.
  • VEER VANDANA – A special programme was held in September 2016 to felicitate the brave soldiers of our country and their families.
    1. 67.5 lakh was awarded to 27 ‘VEER NARIS’ where the wives of martyred soldiers of the Indian Army were awarded Rs. 2.5 Lakh each.
    2. 5 lakh was awarded to Subedar Sanjay Kumar, Indian Army; recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.
    3. 5 lakh was awarded to Naib Subedar Yogendra Singh, Indian Army; recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.
  • Provided Bore well – Sump and Overhead tank facility to provide a steady supply of water for the children of the Welfare Association For Rehabilitation of Disabled & Society (WARDS).
  • Donated Rs. 1 Crore to VishwaShanthiSeva to construct building for educational purpose.
  • Donated Rs. 60,00,000/- to Sparsha Trust towards construction of Rehabilitation centre for Street children
  • Donated Rs.5,00,000/- to GanapathiSevaSamithi towards distribution of Education kit to poor children in Govt. Schools.
  • Gave a scholarship of Rs.5,00,000 to Dr.PeeyushaWadhwani towards pursuing her MS (Obst. &Gynes.) inYenepoyaMediacl College
  • Donated Rs.75,00,000 to JanasevaVidya Kendra for construction of Educational building
  • Adopted three orphanages – NammaNele, NarendraNele and Child Fund Association – providing clothes, class room furniture, UPS facilities and the likes.
  • Donated Outdoor Gym Equipments to Govt. Playground at Kadugodi, Bangalore.
  • Donated Children Play Equipments to the Children’s Park at Kadugodi, Bangalore
  • Donated Rs.20,00,000/- towards the Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation.
  • Donated Rs.35,00,000/- towards procuring medical equipments / rural outreach program to Lions Eye Hospital run by Lions Club of Bangalore West Trust.
  • Distributed furniture / Desks /computers to Govt. Schools /Orphanages.
  • Donated Rs.4 Lakhs to VidyarthiSikshanaSeva Trust, for establishing library and training institute.
  • Supporting Govt. Schools throughout Karnataka to upgrade the infrastructure of the schools.
  • Donated Rs.15 Lakhs to VishwaShanthiSeva for Philanthropic work.
  • Internet training for thousands of Govt School Children.
  • Donated Rs.5 Lakhs to Dada Amar charitable trust for educational purpose
  • Educational support to the children of Colonel. Vasanth, who was killed by the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Support to welfare association for rehabilitation of disabled.
  • Support for the society (wards) which maintain and run temples for religious activities.
  • Donated Rs.3 Lakhs donation to Marathi Deo Sarvajanik trust for Educational purpose.
  • Actively Participates and donates generously in various relief funds during Natural calamities.
