New Horizon Pre University College (NHPUC) is a premier educational institution, recognized by the PU Board & approved by the Govt. of Karnataka. The college was established in the year 1982. For the last 26 years, NHPUC has been providing quality education to students in all the three streams (Science, Commerce & Arts) and has groomed thosands of young minds to play a vital role in the society.

NHPUC was catering to the needs of students for more than two decades. Keeping in line with the motto of New Horizon "IN PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE", the college has decided to widen its area of influence and play a more meaningful role in grooming young minds by opening its doors for the boys too, from the academic year 2008.

The college aims to holistic development of the students so that they enter the world arena as conscientious and worthy citizens of the world.

A PUC student at New Horizon Pre University College not only learns the intricacies of the subjects but is also trained in interpersonal & societal skills.

The academic fraternity of the college sharpens the academic potentials of the students and under the watchful eyes of a qualified psychologist the students learn stress management. Equal emphasis is also laid on memory training, aptitudes and attitudes.

The college also works towards promoting national integration and religious harmony.
