NHCE takes great pleasure to announce that 12 students from CS and IS are now IBM-DB2 CETRIFIED. These students got remarkable percentage in the certification test. A student of VI semester PRATHIK CHANDRASHEKHAR scored 94 % in the exam, which is highest at student level in Karnataka. IBM acknowledged Prathik with a goodie bag and also offered him to take training sessions at NHCE and other colleges in Karnataka.

NHCE further takes pleasure to announce that 32 students appeared for the mock test out of which is 38% got certified. This is a record as the usual percentage is 20-22%.

The IBM-DB2 certified students are now aiming to take up the next level IBM-DBA which they plan to write next semester. NHCE congratulate all these students and wishes them good luck for all their future endeavors.

Permanent Affiliation is awarded to colleges that have the best infrastructure, the highest quality of education and a good & dedicated staff. A well rounded program with a good curriculum supported by balanced co-curricula and extra-curricula activity and a good track record of placements is a necessary requirement to achieve Permanent Affiliation.

This was achieved through total quality in education and excellent knowledge management through specific, measurable, attainable relevant time bound goals and continuous improvement methods.

Only 28 out of 147 colleges have obtained Permanent Affiliation. This speaks volumes about the program run by New Horizon College of Engineering. We are the youngest college to obtain this distinction. This shows that in a short period of time, we have a well developed program that only established colleges have.
