The inauguration of the NHCE student clubs took place on 7/11/2016 in the presence of our Principal Dr.Manjunatha, Directors, Deans, The Registrar, teaching and non-teaching staff and students. The ceremonious occasion was marked as the Red letter day in the history of New Horizon College Of Engineering. The occasion was hosted by Sijo M Varghese and Shiladitya Ghosh. The elected committee members were conferred with badges by our Principal Dr.Manjunatha. The investiture ceremony was concluded by the Presidents Oath administered by Dr. Jain.
The Dance club members sprang into action soon after the induction of clubs. The club had several meetings and informal gatherings to decide upon the future club activities and goals. Within a span of 48 hours after the induction of clubs, the dance club decided to host ‘Switch foot’ event.

The competition saw unexpected turn out of close to 50participants. The event kicked off at 10:30 am in the Auditorium and successfully concluded by 12:00 pm. The event comprised of 2 rounds. The event was smoothly organised by the members of the Dance club.

The winners of the Switch Footwere handed over certificates of excellence as well as boxes of chocolates appreciating their effort.
As the odd semester concludes, the Dance Club promises to host some big events, organise fun activities and abide by the motives of our club. A big thank you to Dr.AnithaRai, chief Librarian for her relentless hard work and support to make this daring initiative a success.
